Customer Reviews
The Modern Science of Wildland Fire Behavior, we have come along way but still a distance to go.
This book lays out the current understanding of wildland fire behavior, what is known about the specifics of fire front combustion, and what generates the rate of spread, intensity, and total heat generated. It was written so that you do not need to be a research scientist to follow and understand the data and conclusions. Equally interesting is how much they identify that is still unknown. As a fire investigator, I reference this book often, as you can see from the blue tages in my company.
