Best overall reference for understanding well logging tools
This copy was my second purchase of this book. I don't believe there's another reference that provides the range of coverage of well logging tool technology. I specialize in nuclear logging tool design and I'm constantly referencing the data tables. I think so highly of this reference I purchased this copy as a gift for one of my hosts at a well logging meeting in Beijing.

Well documented book for oil and gas professionals. Must for reference on your book shelf...good for college course. Well written in easy to understand language.
Fantastic book on well logging
Fantastic book on well logging, highly recommend both as an introduction to the topic and as a reference. Fairly recently updated.One star off because the print quality on the figures is terrible. Like they were all scanned in (poorly) from the previous edition? No idea what went wrong but it's really bad. Many cases where it's impossible to make out labels and very hard to distinguish different line types in the logs and in the graphs. The print quality for the text itself is fine.
