A Beautiful Presentation.
I really appreciate the pace and the writing of this book. I have learned a great deal in from its pages. Each chapter reveals a little more about the interplay of matrices, determinants and geometry. There are a couple chapters on tensor diagrams that I found interesting. I do wish he had included some exercises.Every math book suffers the Goldilocks problem. Some readers will find it too hard, others too easy. I had recently completed a different book on synthetic Projective Geometry. So

I liked this book! It is a leisurely introduction to projective and Cayley-Klein geometry. By leisurely, I mean it is 550 pages long and goes into all the details of the proofs and constructions, with lots of explanation and motivation for the development of the theory. The author does not use “The proof is obvious” which then leaves you with two or more hours of work to figure it out. The book is intended to be accessible to an undergraduate audience, and the author claims that the reader ne
