This is a solid text to quickly cover all topics of math required for most of a physics undergrad. Great from review or a reference guide but is not as throughout in each topic as separate text on each topic.

Good breadth, depth, and worthwhile solved example problems
There are lots of examples here, clear explanations, and problems for you to solve yourself. You could self teach from this book the undergraduate math involved in engineering, or at least review it. I am using it for the latter purpose as I have seen this material once, though it was decades ago. Highly recommended as a supplement for engineering students who are not happy with their assigned undergraduate math texts.

Excellent book content and descriptions. I would recommend this book to all HNC/D Engineering students and degree students also. The comments are spot on and although quite expensive is value for money.
