This book does a good job of explaining the material in a step-by-step manner that makes it easy to follow. There are also worked out example solutions and snippets of example Fortran code .The book is probably most appropriate at a graduate level as the reader should have a solid grasp of differential equations, matrices, and a basic understanding of finite element methods.As far as readability, the book is a bit dense (no pun intended), but it is easy to follow.
