More General Than the Title Would Indicate
This book is really a thorough and up to date treatment of Almost Periodic Functions. Perhaps Springer didn't want to title it that way because most of the work on APF was done in the 1920s and 1930s, and to emphasize the more modern dynamical systems and quantum applications, oscillations and waves were chosen. That's not to say that they also aren't covered-- the quarter or so of the book that covers them is the ONLY coverage available today outside of journals and online research databases.Of
