About the Book
On its original publication in 1973, this book was the first reference for engineers to fully present the science of boiling and condensation. It dealt especially with the problems of estimating heat transfer rates and pressure drops, with particular attention to the occurrence of boiling and condensation in the presence of forced flows within pipes. If you are involved with thermal performance evaluations of boilers or steam generators you will find this book useful. I have never had a formal class on two-phase flow or boiling, but find this book very useful. Most recently I was using it to get a better understanding of homogenous flow, separated flow and drift flux models. Highly recommended.
