I am glad to buy it
This is the book what I expect, I am glad to buy it. The price is a little high, but it is worth it.
" It is still a useful book on regression trees( optimal pruning
This may be an application of "oldie but goodie." It is still a useful book on regression trees( optimal pruning, consistency and interpretation) and eminently readable and clear to mathy people with some stats and probability backgrounds.
An excellent read, and a classic book.
As a mathematician, I read a lot of textbooks. I have to say that the prose in this book is excellent, and is really a joy to read (I can't say THAT very often!). I wish more authors could produce this kind of work.
